The Beach Ave Café & Tapas Bar is an eatery with two personalities. By day, we’re a mild-mannered coffee shop with a laid-back vibe. It’s the perfect hangout for folks who would rather start their day by sipping a mug of organic Spirit Bear coffee while tucking into our freshly made in-house pastries, breads or sweet and savoury crêpes.

At night, the tapas menu appears and the atmosphere shifts, becoming a little more lively and adventurous. Guests tempt their palates with a selection of local boutique wines and an intriguing variety of tapas, salads and Mediterranean-inspired dishes.

 

The Beach Ave. Café & Tapas Bar is open everyday in downtown Peachland. Located along the picturesque Okanagan Lake waterfront, we feed your appetite for great food with our café and tapas bar menu, now featuring a Breakfast Menu as well as an Evening Entree Menu. 

Our tantalizing menu is served all day, you can choose our Prawn Eggs Benny Crepe which is on our Breakfast Menu and at the same time enjoy our Warmed Olives or Duck Wontons which are on our Tapas Menu which is served all day, then later in the evening enjoy or selection of Entrees from our Entree menu like our Lamb or Mediterian Chicken. 

 Rainer and Janice Udala knew they were on to a good thing when they opened Beach Ride Rental in 2011. The seasonal canopy bike rental operation quickly became the go-to mode of transport for carefree visitors looking to explore Peachland’s gorgeous waterfront.

The Udala’s took this unique enterprise a step further in 2015 by opening the European-style café and tapas bar Peachland was waiting for. And so, the Beach Ave Café & Tapas Bar was born.

Now, whether your vision of the Okanagan lifestyle includes sitting back and admiring the lakefront view while nibbling on some tasty tapas and a cool beverage, or you prefer to get out and explore the shoreline with a paddle board rental, the Beach Ave Café has got you covered.
